went to town to buy sharon's present & ended up pigging out with stella & jas :D
(& i broke out in hives when i reached home; i think i'm allergic to cinnamon! :()

26th may; mon

went to surprise sharon at taka! (:

27th may; tues

Bully-Free Camp: Day 1

went all the way to BEDOK for BFC.
my group was Princess Elizabeth Pri Sch (PEPS)
haha they were really cute! (esp. Nathanael & Dominic :D)
and when we asked the boys & girls to hold hands to play games they'd go:
"Eeeeee! Molester!!" lol.
the boys in zhihong's grp even told him that they wanted to wash their hands coz they had "girl germs"!! hahaha




combined games with yongqiang's group: some new game they taught us where the pen cap= thief & the pen= police & the police has to catch the thief :P

anyway the programme was a lil boring but the kids were really sweet (:
some even asked for my autograph at the end of the first day! :D
(hahaha ego boost!! :D)

28th may; wed

Bully-Free Camp: Day 2

today we were playing a mass game when dominic suddenly pulled on my hand & said," melanie look! that girl is handicapped!"
and i looked & saw a lil ang moh girl with a prosthetic leg (one of her legs were much shorter than the other)
and at that point in time i didn't know what to reply to dominic's comment.
so i just said "Shhh..dont say so loudly kae? maybe she injured her leg before.." & smiled at him.
but for the rest of the day i just kept thinking about how unfair life was, that some ppl were born with disabilities while others were just so damn lucky.

(but anyway her name's Emma & she won "best female camper" on the last day of the camp. and i felt really touched & inspired when i saw her running-and-limping onto the stage to get her prize. the smile on her face almost made me cry. and at that moment, i just felt that she was a really brave lil girl! )

but i was still quite cheerful the whole day coz my group was just too cute! :D
we played so many different games i lost count :D
(and the kids kept poking & tickling me coz jm told them i was scared of tickles!
talk about "bully-free camp"! i was bullied by the kids la!)
(& so was jm; they called her "stinkyfeet" lol.)
and afterwards they doodled on the mahjong paper we were supposed to present our ideas on :P





29th may; thurs

Bully-Free Camp: Day 3

today jm got downgraded from "stinkyfeet" to "stinkypanties" :D (LOL. all thanks to nat the bo gei boy boy. hahaha)
and they started calling jm & me "PIGlet & winnie the POO" hahaha
but they were super naughty today!

they asked us if zh was our bf & we said yup! (and zh said the same thing when they asked him if we were his gfs)
and that was the start of all the trouble!
we played truth or dare & they dared us to hug zh (which we refused) & they got really high & started pushing us and zh together!
gosh. evelyn, jm, zh & me were exhausted by the time they finally left us alone :O

i tied zh's hair!! :P



and then they started the "i love zh" frenzy; writing "i love zh" on pieces of paper which they proceeded to stick on us, & helping us "tell our fortune" to see if we wld marry zh & etc.
hahaha it was hilarious, the stuff they did.

and we went to see the peacocks (the sch has 2 peacocks! imba or what!)
& i learnt that a female peacock is called a peahen! (hahaha okay fine i'm a NOOB! happy?)

& dom was adorable; he said," bye bye i'm going to heaven!"
& i followed him where he brought me to a sign which said "maths haven"!!
haha omg he's damn cute :P






but the kids made me super paiseh!
we had to go onstage to receive our cert & they cheered really loudly for me which made me really happy (but that's beside the point).
when it came to zh's turn, they pulled on my hands, pointed at zh & shouted "ur boyfren!! ur boyfren!!" in front of the 24 participating schools & all the other volunteers! :O
omggg. hahaha & they did the same thing when yq went on stage!
(coz he's also one of my ten bfs; together with nat, dom, lee kuan yew, mas selamat, michael jackson & a few others :D)

lol but i had a great time! & i'll miss the kids dearly! (esp. nat & dom!! :D)
and the kids made us feel like celebrities; they kept asking for our autographs! even those not in our group! :D

sat; 17th may

i woke up superearly to meet yq & zh for the bully-free camp briefing
(but i was still late coz i stupidly took the longer route :P)

afterwards zh & me went to cut our hair b4 going for Shake.
(and after zh spent a veryyy long time waiting for me to finish my haircut, he said," you look exactly the same as before you stepped into the salon." hahaha bleagh. :X)

and then we went to sch for Shake!
gosh the queue to get into the audi was sooooo long la.
jon, zh & me booked like 2 rows of seats :P
and everybody sat together. (like rv + fac com + 69 + zh's friends + zh's friends' friends + my friends (:)
