yup. the one with the sucky ending that got everyone cursing the directors. (:
i've just finished reading the WHOLE story! books 2 & 3! :D
the whole concept's so cool!
the Subtle Knife can cut through air to open windows to another world.
and in the story there are multiple worlds. like parallel universes.
and everyone has a dæmon! i want a dæmon too!
but i was damn sad that Will & Lyra could not be together in the end!
but the multiple worlds concept is so intriguing.
just imagine that other worlds exist, and we exist in the other worlds.
like there's other melanies in other worlds. who are all part of me but not quite me.
okay i'm rambling & this post is not making much sense.
but just pretend u're intrigued too kae. :D
hmmm. maybe in some other world i'm a genius of IQ 300 who's thinking of ways to save the world from dying due to global warming.

anyway, blocks are ending!
the paper-setters have been most unkind. >(
especially maths. but thank god we went to watch Get Smart the day b4 & thus did not waste our time studying for that killer paper whose questions that i could do can be counted with 2 fingers.
it's damn funny. go watch! :D
but i'm kinda dreading the going-back-to-school part. :(
no more slacking/sleeping/using the com til 7, then watching tv til 10, studying til 12-1 plus & waking up at 10.30.

weddings make me teary-eyed.hello world!
it's
6.18PM. and i woke up less than 1/2 an hour ago.
and blocks are starting tmr.

haha but i'm not even stressed bout it.
at all.there's sth seriously wrong with me.
anyway, ytd was a fabulous day! (:
it was my cousin's wedding (& i was one of her bridesmaids :D)
really great experience i must say.
and i'm so happy to be part of her special day ((:
her photographer's awesome!
and when i asked him how he learnt his photography skills, he said,"self-taught".
some people are so freaking talented!

i'm so happy that she's found a great guy to spend the rest of her life with.
while she was walking down the aisle, i was suddenly flooded with so many emotions at once i couldn describe the feeling.
i was
elated that she found her happiness,
touched by the love my cousin-in-law has for her,
happy that her wedding's such a success, but most of all, her getting married made me realise that we were
growing up too quickly.it felt so weird to realise that she is now a Mrs.
when i was a little girl, i used to stay at her house when my parents were working,
& play with her and her sister, and their other cousins as well.
even when i stopped staying there, her sis & her would still take us out every now and then.
and now
everyone's all grown up. it's just so weird.
& a little scary.
haha i was chatting with her cousins (diana & yvonne jie who were also bridemaids), & we started talking about how we used to play together when we were young.
gosh
how i missed the times when i was still a little girl.i'm so happy that i was part of one of the most special events of her life
& i'm glad i agreed to help out even though blocks would be starting tmr :D
& also because i'll flunk blocks anyhow :Phmmm.
God if you can't make me smart,
please make everyone else stupid!!muahaha :D

Maths Daythis morning, zh gave me a
morning call at nine plus :D
"wei wake up already. dont sleep alrdy hor! qi chuang le!" (or sth like that)
and then i mumbled some stuff like "dont want la. little while more..."
and went back to sleep.
but zh was v v nice & he called me a few more times to check if i was awake (i wasn't)
haha and in the end i woke up at
12 plus :P (which is still earlier than my normal wake-up time)
argh. i hate my super-nonexistent level of self-discipline!
it's screwing my life up.
today was/is Maths Day.
and like the previous few Maths Days, i placed all my maths stuff on the table & tried to study.
but i just cldn't get myself to study the subject. so i ended up doing nothing.
AGAIN.i think it's mathematiphobia. :(
i need to start getting serious about my studies. like seriously.
since i've entered HC, it's like i've stopped caring bout my grades anymore.
my results have been horrid & it doesn even seem to affect me.
argh. & i've studied next to nothing for this blocks & i'm not even the least bit stressed.
maybe it's my way of escaping.
so that if i do badly i can blame it on the fact that i didn study.
mayb i'm just scared that even if i study, i'll do badly.
and then i can only blame it on my stupidity.
i just read ber's blog and i really agree with sth he said.
"but one thing im sure is that everybody only goes through teenage years once.n i wun wanna exchange all my teenage yrs for books n notes as much as it can help me secure a better future."that said, i'll still start studying soon! i promise.
after blocks i'll get serious. (i know i say this after every exam, but this time i wont break my promise!)
please let me feel some stress soon!

Birthday of "An Dumbass"morning was an interesting affair which i shant elaborate much ("you-say-leh" haha. just to remind myself what it was about :P)
but it was so sweet & cute ahahaha :Dhmmm puppy love? :Dthen i was "abandoned" by my mugging khakis & left to roam the streets alone.
but just then celest called! hahaha
so i ta-baoed a
mafan lunch for that
mafan girl (who insisted tt i did it "because you love me!" lol :D)
& crashed their study date (celest, ade & gwendo)
which happened to be quite productive :P
and very
FUN.
gwendoline is damn funny. and gullible!hahaha she almost shitted with the toilet door open coz she asked us how to close the sliding door & we told her it was an "open concept". HAHAHA. omg she almost believed us until we started laughing uncontrollably. :D
and we took lotsa pictures :

although we used to bicker alot last time, we're quite close now (: yay x 100000

and opened another bottle of wine (which was not as nice as the bottle we opened on mommy's bdae.)
so here we are, at 2am in the morning, playing cai quan & the loser has to gulp down red wine :D

Daddy's Day (:suprised Daddy by bringing him to
Mushroom Pot for lunch! (mommy's idea :))
(the first time we went there it was at the Esplanade. i had no idea centrepoint had one branch too.)
ordered a set & we cldn't finish it. haha. but the food's damn good! :D
pork ribs & fried squid with wasabi sauce & chicken & some veggie-like thingy that looks like abalone & tofu & crispy prawns
yum!haha and the steamboat part was good. i ate like so many different mushrooms with names i cant remember & fish & prawns & meat & etc. :D
then we went
SHOPPPING!GSS is love!
hahaha i think we spent > S500 altogether :P
dont say i didn tell you: Calvin Klein Jeans bags are on offer!! :D
(mommy & me bought one each. she says i'm not allowed to kope hers but we'll see :P)
and i bought the same Gap jacket as ivan. super big & comfy :D
Mommy's Bdae (:(which was ytd)
while she & daddy went to patuo in the morning (while kevin tagged along like a huge lightbulb),
we got a cake from Island Creamery & hid it in the freezer.
then we went out. ivan to church & me to meet them to shop (:
and dinner was North Indian crusine (yummy!)
and we suprised mommy with the cake when we got home (:
but she walked in on me as i was trying to stick the candles into the cake in the kitchen. :P

physics: 20 topics
chem: 20 topics (after finishing redox & ideal gases :D)
maths: 11 topics (i finished sampling!)
econs: 13 topics (haha i finished intro to mrkt structures & perf. comp!)
No. of free days left:hmmm let's see...1/2 of 13th, 16th, 1/2 of 17th, 18th, 19th, a bit of 20th & 22nd!
WTH that's
5-and-a-bit days left! :(
which means tt if i dont eat/sleep/shit/watch tv/slack/use com/shop/etc,
i only have like 5 times 24 divided by 64 = 1.9 hours per topic.
however, it is inevitable tt i need to eat/sleep/shit/watch tv/slack/use com/shop/etc
& sleeping already takes up >12 hours each day.
which therefore means that i have less than 0.9 hours for each topic & i still will not be able to study for GP.
HOLY SHITZZZZZ.argh! how? and i haven't done a single piece of holiday hw!!

the case of the missing trolley.vnr was damn tiring today :x (it was! seriously!)
haha but we finally finished the structure & it's so cute! :D

then met sharon to go to the Giant at turf city to buy food for 150 ppl :X
Giant was like so FARRRR away from the bus stop la. *grumbles*
and when we were finally done, we asked the cashier if we could push the trolley out.
like to the bus stop & she said YES.
so we nonchalantly pushed the trolley ALL the way pass the car park & pass the security guard & all the way to the main road & ALL THE WAY to the bus stop (which wasn't even the bus stop we alighted from; it was like 2 bus stops away from HC only!)
(& if u've been to turf city b4, u'd know that that's like approx 1.5 KM!!! or MORE!!)
haha & on the way ppl kept giving us weird stares & looks of amazement & what-not.
so PAISEH! haha.
heh. i was saying that if we get caught & sent to jail, the money spent on the bail wld be more than enough to feed 1500 ppl.

so if you happen to pass by Vanda Road & that abducted trolley is still there,
kindly help us push it 1.5km back to Giant. kthxbye. :D
