christmas lights.i woke up at 6.30 AM on saturday to run to Macritchie & back.
and ended up mostly walking the 5.5km instead. :D
it's been months since i exercised but it felt like
YEARS.my stamina (and determination) was zero man.
and i felt so bad that ivan dragged his ass outta bed at that unearthly hour just to accompany me. hahaha
after that was shopping with the mother ((:
but most of the clothes were so fugly i honestly cant imagine why anyone would purchase them.
i was in the mood to spend money but there was nothing to buy. argh.
my spoils for the day: a dress, a belt, a pair of Aldo heels. and that was it :(
dinner was
Mexican.The Tapas Tree @ Clarke Quay.
the ambience was great. there was a live Mexican Band & a Mexican dancer.
just that we took a super long time to order.
the names were just too confusing; lamb chop is known as
Cordero Con Salsa De Menta.
a simple dish of egg, ham, sausage & potatoes has a name consisting of 6 long difficult-to-pronounce words.
i think the only thing with a name sounding remotely similar to the food itself is Cheese Croquettes. it was called
Croquetas De Queso. haha
anyway, Clarke Quay's just so beautiful at night.
so bustling and full of different sights, smells and sounds. yummy.
oh and some of the Christmas lights along Orchard Road are up.
i love Christmas!
