31st Dec 2008

the last day i'll pay 45 cents a bus ride.
the last day i'll get to eat Student Meals NOOOOOO
the last day of 2008.

i only have 3 New Year Resolutions this year:

ONE.
i solemnly declare that I, Melanie Ng Shu Hui the Wonderful, will never sleep more than 10 hours a day henceforth.

i've come to the realisation that sleep is an evil time-robbing monster.

and if i do not change my sleeping patterns, by the time i live to the ripe old age of 80 (assuming i live that long), i would have slept 40 frickin years of my life away WHICH IS ALOT OKAY DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY THINGS I CAN DO IN 40 YEARS??!

TWO.
i shall run/swim/exercise regularly. (stella ling i will do it!! [:)

THREE.
i will do things which make myself & the people around me HAPPY.

yeah i know for the past few years in which i bothered making resolutions, i never ever manage to keep them but whatevah.
at least i tried. a little. :D

anyway, went to keming for the interview thingy with celest ytd.
(was supposed to go climb bukit timah hill with rachel etc BUT I TOTALLY OVERSLEPT)
we were so retarded we actually cabbed one bus stop coz we didn't wanna walk in haha
yup so in the end i got the job but i'm quite scared the kids will bully me/i can't control them/they'll totally ignore me & not listen to me teach/etc.
PLUS i'm gonna be all alone w/o celest which is gonna make this 9213842 times less easy to endure :(


i know i look like a glutton eating the ferrero rocher but trust me i'm totally non-gluttonous in real life [:


afterwards we had dinner @ Railway Mall with miss kho & then drinks @ Blooie's Roadhouse. (happy hour WOOHOO)

being adventurous people, we went & ordered the shooters: Slippery Nipple (hahaha the person taking our order actually laughed out loud when we ordered it.)

and it was so lethal we wanted to cancel our Flaming Lamborghini but it was already on the way. and the waitress took super long to light it (my camera couldn't capture the blue flames on top) & we had to down it as fast as we could & she'd pour the milk in when we were done.
honestly, it wasn't very nice tho. haha kinda gross actually.
