flea fly flu phlegm~ :X


my immune system has decided to go on strike :(
since like 2 days ago, my nose declared war against me & today, my throat launched Operation Phlegm. i slept a grand total of 3 hours ytd due to the terrorist activities of above-mentioned nose. rahh i need an MC :P

today, i sat on the music bus (or whatever it's called) for the first time in my life :D
hahaha (thanks ah qiuyu for announcing my suaku-ness to everyone :P)

and today i learnt that "tian da lei pi" means "lightning strike you" (or sth like that)
instead of "a lot of thunder & lightning".

therefore, the sentence, " my daddy is a damn heavy sleeper. tian da lei pi he also won't wake up." , is unfortunately incorrect. (hahaha :D)

now for good news!
today, hwachong emerges victorious in all matches!
squash (won 5-love! go kimby!)
volleyball (go saRAH!)
basketball (weeyong said he scored >5 points! :P)
netball (not sure of the score but heard they thrashed! go sarah soo!)
soccer (won IJ 4-1! and zh scored! go jon & zh! :D)

yay hwachong kicks ass! :D

went for guitar concert ytd (:
was quite nice actually; better than i had expected :P
haha there was this imba history teacher called Mr Something Quek.
his voice is absolutely amazing i tell you!
he sang "Music Of The Night" and "Sway" :D
and there was this guy who was Gay-Beyond-Words
sent us into fits of giggles everytime we looked at him :P

we cheered super loudly for unmac! (unmac were u touched? :D)
so did hong hao and co.
and unmac received flowers & lots of balloons! (which renyang koped from the railings haha)

on the way to BTM :D

hahaha!


and then stella, unmac, renyang, sarah, weeyong, billy & me went to eat supper at BTM but the tang yuan was sold out! :(
and home we went! (:



you'll always complain that you have no shoes,

Hat That!


ytd was artermis faculty outing: Hat That!

6.30pm at safra mount faber.
sth-sth-pearl restaurant (:
each class was supposed to wear similar hats.
many classes wore creative stuff like balloon hats, chef hats, top hats, bunny ears, etc.

BUT our class was the COOLEST; we wore SHOWERCAPS! hahaha coupled with bathrobes, bedroom slippers, foam & bubbles! :D
haha at first so paiseh, we din dare to walk into the restaurant.
and when we finally did, everyone was staring/cheering/laughing at us la. heh
haha so cute right? the juniors manage to get 45 bathrobes from furama hotel :P

pizza & shoppinggg (:

good morning! (:
mommy & me went shopping ytd!

haha we cabbed to Goodwood Park Hotel for tea

(they have like so many deserts & cakes that are durian-related!)

& then we went shopping; i bought alot alot of stuff I AM SO BROKE :(
haha i realised that if i go shopping after a long period of shopping-free days,
i tend to splurge on impulse buys.

i had sushi for my pseudo-dinner :P
& we baked pizza when we got home!
hahaha though mommy kept complaining that i was more of a hindrance than help ._.

while taking photo of the interior of the oven, we realised that we could be seen in the photo too! :D

rahhhh.

i am such a

(haha isn't it so cute? in an ugly sorta way :))

after eating a whole plate of rice for lunch +
a roti prata & a cup of barley (lol i spelt it as "barely" !! :P) +
my very nice dinner with alot of dishes +
my dark chocolate gelato for dessert (which i'm astounded that it is still in the fridge),

i ate a pizza-bread +
a bowl of baked rice (with lots of cheese & sausages & mushrooms :D :D :D)
for my pseudo supper
(haha it's a pseudo supper coz i'm having my real real supper later)


not to mention that i haven't done a single constructive thing since i've gotten home :(
sobs i'm back to my slacker self (whatever happened to Mel-in-Mugger-Mode?!)
and i think i shall sleep soon (:

speaking of which, did you know that the hall is super-duper conducive for sleeping? :D
they have mattresses on the stage (for napfa 5 items) + a piano nearby (which cassandra happened to be playing a really nice korean song on) = real nice environment to sleep while waiting for cca to start (:

p.s today unmac told me that "melanie" actually means "black"!! omgg i swear it's my name that's making me so tanned. (haha the word is tanned. NOT black.)

one litre of tears


go watch this jap drama!
it one of the nicest & saddest ever :(
i started watching it last night & i cried like a dunno-what;
my eyes were so swollen they became as small as weeyong's (haha sorry weeyong i cant think of any other simile :P)
and this morning when i woke up they were still swollen! :O



anyway it's really touching & inspiring; kinda like Tuesdays With Morrie but 9716583746581 times nicer.
it's the kind of story that makes me feel stupid for fussing over trivial matters when so many other things are going on in the world. the kind of story that once u've heard it & seen it, something inside you changes forever.

Happy April Fool's!!!

i just came back from Celest's granny's wake.
and i'm so darn pissed with u-know-who! (no i'm not refering to Voldermort :D)
argh how can u treat her like that u @&@$#%&*#$&@! :( she deserves so so much more.

anyway the bus uncle bluff me! :(
haha i asked him how to get to block 22 & he told me,"3 more stops" (while looking quite unsure)
& so i alighted 3 stops later at SINGAPORE RIVER with no block 22 anywhere nearby!
you baka dez! (hahaha "u bangla-desh!")

anyway! today is April Fool's! (:
although no one played any pranks but i had a really sweet surprise today! :D

after physics, while stella, sarah, qiuyu & me were finishing our physics ws, sharon went to the toilet to "shit".
then qiuyu also said she wanted to shit & everyone went to the toilet. but i din go in coz i was on the phone.
then after a long long while i finally went into the toilet & when i was peeing the lights went off!

then suddenly i heard some weird sound like pebbles dropping on the floor & i still continued to pee but the noise din stop! (& i was wondering how come da bian got this kind of sound one!)
then i looked up and saw a hand emptying a plastic bag of what looked like pebbles into my cubicle!! hahaha :D
& i was like," omg what the hell is that?" while everyone was meng laughing.
and finally the lights went on coz some girl wanted to use the toilet & i saw that the pebble-lookalike-thingies were colourful shiny stars! :D

hahaha & i opened the cubicle door to see Jas with a small tiramisu cake & a lighted candle.
and i still had no idea what they were doing! haha even when they started singing the bdae song i was like pointing to myself & going," huh? me arh?"
lol. it was my belated belated bdae surprise! :D

omg so funny la i was totally stunned! did not expect it at all. and they said they were pouring the stars into my cubicle coz i said i wanted to see more shooting stars!! hahaha OMG DAMN DAMN CUTE RIGHT?!! nicest shooting stars ever (:

& i got a board with nice nice photos (of us + zhishu + owen :D) & sweet messages & the bottle of shooting stars & a super nice white watch which i shall use from now on! (:
