17th feb; sunday

went celest's house in the afternoon (:

haven gone there in like 98735726582437 years can. we had chocolate fondue!

and there were strawberries too :D haha and celest's fren, roy (i think) called adeline to ask if $15 for a box of strawberries is considered expensive. hahaha! shld have told him that $15 is DAMN cheap! buy 3 boxes :D

after that we played 10 cents per card dai dee & the guys lost :D

oh & celest gave me my super belated xmas present! hahaha it's a pair of super cute round-toed shoes! thanks girl i love u muacks <3

and then i went to cck to meet 4a and mr choy.

and i waited like a dumb dumb for 1.5 hours b4 finally meeting them at bp plaza. bleagh stupid me :( but mr choy is damn nice he gave us a treat! (:

and dinner ended too late so i din go for stj in the end sorry! :(

Happy Valentine's Dayyy! :D


today is Valentine's day! (:
yay i received many nice stuff from nice ppl! thx guys (:

& 69 is damn cool. we had a picnic IN THE SCHOOL FIELD TODAY :D
haha juz took our food & picnic mat & went to the field to sit down.
& so many ppl were staring at us can! then everytime someone says," eh, alot of ppl staring leh.."
someone else will say," nevermind, they JEALOUS ma!" hahaha :D
& stella bought a roast chicken! then we just passed it around & bit off it. haha damn funny! (:
but i had alot of fun! :D

& after that we went to watch P.S. i Love You which was a huge disapointment coz i expected it to be much much nicer. but the story's touching la. i teared a bit :P

& after that orchard was so crowded that all the buses were full & the cabs were either hired or on call! so bryan & me went to mogu-mogu to eat b4 gg back & halfway thru his parents came to fetch us. & i went home & slept like a pig (:

6th feb; CNY eve



today was daddy's bdae! (:
we went to Sheralton Towers (forgot how to spell :P) for buffet! muahaha :D
the food was damn good kae!
there was shark's fin, sashimi, soft shell crab, salmon, etc etc etc (:
and the view was super nice!
& the waiters are not singaporean. i was blocking one of them and he said," excuse moi mademoiselle.." hahahaha :D
oh and their deserts rock too!
yay good food makes me happy :P
(oh we saw daphne khoo there too..u noe, the singapore idol finalist...)

and after dinner we went to Melting Pot for drinks at the lounge.
and we played cards there & i realised daddy calls the suit which looks like a clover leaf "cauliflower" instead of "clubs". hahaha my daddy is so cute :D



7th feb; first day of CNY



nothing much happened today..shall upload the pics soon :D


but my lil cousin sherylyn is super-duper cute!
she's 4 yrs old & super naughty & cheeky (:
she likes hiding in a corner & scaring me by jumping up & shouting "PEEKABOO!"
& she says," i da ni de pigu ah!" (i beat ur backside ah!)
& when we asked her what she wanted to play she replied," whatever (:"
& when hazel wanted to help her paint her nails she said," my mommy say i cannot do adult thing" hahaha :D
oh & she's not allowed to say the word "stupid".
when hazel said the word "stupid", sherylyn gasped & said," hor hor! u said the wrong word!!" (eyes open big big)
then i purposely asked," what's the wrong word?"
& she said," stupid lo!"
then i said," HOR HOR U SAID IT TOO!!!" hahaha then her eyes open big big again :D
& she asked hazel," why ur hair black & brown one? SOOOO UGLY!" then she stuck out her tongue & meng laugh. haha she's damn cute! (:


8th feb; second day of CNY


daddy's side came over today. did i mention i had super many relatives?
my mommy & daddy has 11 siblings EACH. haha & many of my cousins are already married & have children! so CNY is always a noisy affair.

but the caterer screwed up & gave us food which we didn order -.-
but i like CNY. it gives me a chance to meet my cousins whom i haven seen in like 9872348572945 years!
& i enjoyed talking to rachel (:
we used to have very lil to talk about but now that she's in HC, there are more topics i can talk to her about (:

and i gambled with ivan on credit & lost $70!!
zomg! heng he didn take my money! hahaha :P
and afterwards we went visiting again & went to Al-Ameen for dinner! (:



9th feb; 3rd day of CNY



woke up damn late & watched It Started With a Kiss at home like a loser until it was time to go to bryan's hse.
watched The Notebook there. the movie is super touching & sweet! (:
& afterwards we ate (& saRAH and me cooked instant noodles for them! :D) & went to play mahjong. (which was damn uncomfortable coz there was no table & we played on the floor!)
and we drank a lil too. damien brought a bottle of pure vodka & a few ppl were scam-ed & drank it coz they thought it was water. haha & i tried it too & it tasted like the alcohol in the chem lab! (not that i've drunk the alcohol in the chem lab la!) & we mixed tequila with coke & lemon & the drinks tasted awful. heh.
anyway hanging out with 69 has always been fun (:

haha i was sick today. woke up with a splitting headache & vomitted twice! :O
then daddy brought me to the 24hr clinic at mount alvernia & the bill was $82 leh!
$82 for two mcs! one for today & one for tmr's cross-ctry! :D
but the medicine's disgusting! :S


ytd sharon & me ponned cca to go shopping for vday gifts! SORRY QUIYU!
u know i still love u :D haha & i bought sth damn cute for u so it's worth it kae? (:
& i spent $70+++!! argh so heart pain!
actually v.day is quite pointless lo..we spend alot of $$$ to buy alot of stuff. then we receive alot of stuff & eat alot of chocs! then we become fat & start complaining that we wanna lose weight. then we lose weight & next year vday the same thing happens & this cycle repeats every single year! :D


& ytd eileen gave me my 2nd bdae pressie! :D

i swear i'm a pig.
something bloody stupid happened today.
we were supposed to go to huang lao shi's hse to bai nian..so i asked mommy how to go to woodlands & she said," take 852 to bb to change train or 855 to khatib to change train."

so i went to the bus stop. i was already late & i just missed 852.
just then, an 855 came along so i happily boarded it. then i looked out of the window the WHOLE journey so i wldn miss my stop but there was no "khatib". somemore i didn dare to ask the bus driver coz i paiseh.

and after a super long time i thought i was reaching but i saw a sign which said "sentosa"!
i was like "omg omg i think i missed my stop!"
so i alighted at the harbourfront interchange and called mommy for help!

i told her i missed the stop and she asked me where i was.
when i told her i was at harbourfront she was like,"WHAT?! HOW DID U END UP AT HARBOURFRONT?"
then i said," huh but u said 855 goes to khatib!" & she yelled," ya it does but U TOOK THE WRONG SIDE LA!"
ARGHHHHH!!!! #@&*%@*#%&@&#^%!!!
grrr i felt damn STUPID can!
and mommy was like," omg i cant stand u! how can u anyhow go take bus one?!"

so i was already very late & i din know what to do coz if i took mrt or bus i'd probably might as well not go already coz woodlands is like at the other end of spore.
so i cabbed there!

grr taxi rides are damn ex nowadays my cab fare was $18!
argh all because of pure stupidity >(

and when i reached everyone laughed at me!
they were like," walao u dunno 855 goes to harbourfront meh?"
then i said," huh i thought khatib is on the way to harbourfront.."
and kok hao almost fainted when i said that haha

but we managed to go to huang lao shi's house without getting lost!
besides the fact that i made zhihong pressed the bell at the wrong stop & everyone was like "OOEI MELANIE ......." anyway they said they'd never trust my sense of direction ever. :O

anyway, huang lao shi's baby is SUPERCUTE!
she's only 3 mths old & her name is rui ning
and we're going to visit her again on her birthday!

anyway we lao yu sheng there and played some weird funny game, then we talked and decided to go to anna's house to play mahjong.
so zhong xian, yong qiang, me, nge hwee, zhi hong & of course anna, went to anna's house where we played mahjong. zhi hong & me teamed up & we won 2 out of 4 matches!
got one is ping hu somemore! clever or what?!

then i left for town to watch shaolin dunk (i'm not sure if this is the name but it's the one with jay zhou in it)
and coz i was late i cabbed there too.
ahh my ang bao $$$ is all spent on cabbing.

anyway the show was quite nice. & jay zhou was actually quite cute in the show.
but i cried near the end of the movie coz it was so touching.

had crystal jade for dinner, and i am going to sleep now coz there's sch tmr
and i shall not be late.
shall blog about the previous days of CNY next time good nite!

i haven't blogged in eons! haha quite lazy actually :X
nth much happened recently juz that i did alot of CIP (:

27th jan, sun

ARTEMIS CIP:

it was really fun. we had to scrape off paint from the walls & ceiling of an old man's flat & help him to repaint it. and we had to repaint his toilet too :X

but after we were done with it everything looked as good as new.
well..almost as good as new :P
haha and my itchy hands made me paint anything i could get my paintbrush on.

oh and sean poh was our ic. he's quite funny. we saw this hotel 81 cup in the flat and said:" hor hor uncle stole the hotel 81 cup!" and sean said," no la..he member ma.." hahaha
anyway it was really fun though it was really tiring, but the uncle was so grateful to us that everything was worth it.



1st feb, fri

i got my belated birthday present from yq & zh.
it's damn nice but i'm not gonna use it coz i cant bear to haha
hahaha sorry okay i know i promised.

and I HATE CHEM! :(
argh it's super boring la and the 2 hr lesson on fri sucks the most :O
and i think mdm ching hates sarah & me! hahaha die la we keep making her angry.
last chem lab we were counting coins, playing with the candle and i even burnt my chem worksheet.
this chem lab we slept for quite long then we played with the chemicals until mdm ching started nagging. haha bryan even added a mentos into our concoction.

but unmac and me were super DUMB can.
we were supposed to make this buffer solution but we had no idea what to do. then mdm ching said just add equal no. of moles of each thingy.
so we calculated the amt of solid to weigh but we realised that the weighing scale cldn weigh our solid coz it only weighed to 2 decimal places.
so we decided to multiply everything by 10!
hahaha and everyone else only used like 10ml of solution but we measured out 100ml!
lol. thank god jeannie saw us and she was like," ooi! how come u all use SO MUCH?!" haha then she told us that we were supposed to dilute the stupid thing & not multiply everything by ten.

and joseph came to hc (:
haha i felt so guilty coz my phone was not with me so i didn't read all his messages!
sorry i made u wait for so long.
and he bought chocolate for me. (:
& when i said that i owed him his birthday present he said," no need la..u just owe me a smile."
so sweet right?! hahaha

3rd feb, sun

Food Samaritan.

we did cip today again. this time for sarah's SL project.
i woke up damn freaking early! even earlier than gg to sch.

we went to pipit road which is super far away and started helping to arrange the stuff and pack the food and necessities.
then we set off for our zone which is at another place with a weird name that i cant remember.
and josiah & me were sabo-ed to go to the other blocks which were very far away.
but exercise is good!
and mr toh's son is super cute! :D
we asked him what's his name and he said:" dunno!"
haha then he said that it starts with "K" so i guessed "kevin", "kelvin" & "keith" which was his name.
and he's super active. kept running around chasing after cats & cockroaches (EWW)
anyway we had alot of fun.
our group had almost all the j2s: sarah, lydia, billy (who kept niao-ing me), sharon, qiuyu, me, josiah, joshua.

and after that joshua, me, sharon & qiuyu went to the food centre near bedok mrt to eat.
