1. sat night saw us at SoHo celebrating celest's 19th by partying the night awayyy which was (surprisingly) awesome, even though i always say i hate clubbing.
hahaha must be the company and the fact that we drank til we were damnfreaking high.
i've never gotten so high in my entire life before i coudn't even balance man.
it was only till i realised that i lost my phone that i became a bit more sober. lol
and thank god they found it coz my phone + IC was missing. scared the shit out of me haha.
never gonna drink so much ever again (i think.)

and thank you zhihan for taking care of me the whole night and even sending me all the way to my doorstep. awww so sweet right i know [:
hahaha love this bunch of people man, we can never run out of stupid retarded things to do/say, even if we haven't seen each other in ages. chiam's slutty photos amuse me to no end :D

Coz All We Have is Here and Now.


i need to get my act togetherrrrr!
so far i've skipped 5.5 lectures and all my tutorials and readings are snowballing like crazy.
hall life is sucking the life out of me help.
and i miss so many people but i dont have any time to meet up with them. :[

on a nicer note, my sociology tutor is awesome.
he's like this nice, cool, laid-back dude, and that day he made us go to the engin canteen and he said," okay, for the next 5 mins, i want you guys to deviate from social norms and see how people around you react."
which resulted in some of us plopping ourselves (uninvited) at some poor dude's table, standing on chairs in the canteen and waving, starting another queue @ the canteen stall, etc.
i think soci might not be that bad afterall. [:

and just the other day i was studying on my bed (with my pen uncapped) and i fell asleep AS USUAL.
and when i woke up the next day there were 3 small green blobs on my bedsheet & 2 huge green blobs on my white "WAS A MAC, NOW A PC" shirt (which i like alot btw) ARGH. FML.

anyway, we had our Gambate Supper on monday night which was GOOOOOD. [:
hopefully all our events will be this smooth-sailing.
ber came by in the evening and crashed our psych lecture :D
and it sucks to sit next to him coz everytime i fall asleep he'll either pinch me/draw on me/doodle on my notes/any other stupid things he can think of. hahahaha.
and i brought him back to hall to see my room & that idiot wrote on his fb status, "Bernard Lip is at a crime scene." O:
so untrue please. my room is super tidy and clean and well-organised and my things are definitely not strewn haphazardly everywhere. [:

and IBG will be officially over tmr woohoo!
though i think i'll actually miss all the late night sports trainings and stuff.
but one more huge wave of events are coming soon I NEED TO LEARN TIME MANAGEMENT SOMEBODY TEACH ME.

I Am Just Gonna Type Whatever Pops Into My Mind.


have been really busy these few days/weeks.


perks of staying in hall: woke up @ 11.55am the other day when my french lecture was at 12pm and rushed like a mad woman,
and i actually managed to get there @ 12.05pm! [:
speaking of french, le francais, c'est difficile!!! which means "the French language is very difficult!!!"
i always feel damn mentally drained after french lessons.
but still, i'm glad i decided to take french coz it's like the only subject that i actually will bother studying for.

and i have to declare this: rachel chew hui yi, i am so superduper thankful that i have you here with me!
seriously, she brings me EVERYWHERE. hahaha and reminds me what lessons i have/what time they start/where they are/what hw we have/etc.
i would be seriously lost without her coz i know nothing about all my uni stuff. hahaha i love you rachel chew!! :D


anyway, eileen & guansen came over to visit me the other day and to complain about the state of my room.
hahahaha EVERYONE complains about the state of my room, even the guys:
"WALAO! YOUR ROOM DAMN MESSY LA!!!"
"looking at da en's room, you shld be ashamed that you're a girl"
"is this a girl's room?"
and so on.
haha but i cant help it. it's called Organised Chaos okay.
and anyway, the 3 of us took lots of retarded photos with photobooth (seriously, the macbook induces major camwhoring) which i'll upload another day.
eileen oh please come and visit me often!!!

oh and i finally watched The Proposal the other day.
it's really good! the feel-good, sweet, funny, romantic-comedy kind of movie.
though there was this scene where the guy (who is very cute btw.) was hugging the girl and it was real sweet and all,
and i felt super emo and start tearing/crying like a retard. hahahah good job melanie ng.

and guess what, i've been playing a lot of sports recently.
ikr, surprise of the century. hahaha. we've been training for sheares' inter-block games!
and surprisingly, i actually quite enjoy all our (netball, floorball, vball, softball, touch rug, floorball, soccer) trainings.
i sleep @ 4am every night though. the lack of sleep is killing me!!!!

and the scandals and fb spams are killing me too. gosh. the people here are SCARY.
they take scandalous photos of everyone, upload them on fb, tag everyone else and SPAM us with comments.
and my block guys are like absolutely retarded. hahahahah
but i'm really glad i chose to stay in hall. i really love my awesome block mates woohoo :D
and i got into block com = even busier = even less time for everything else.
i really need to learn Time Management.

and mommy called just now and we chatted for awhile before my phone batt died and i started feeling damn emo and i started crying like a tard again because i miss everyone. (my family, celest, eileen, yq, zh, stella, 69, my favourite ppl, etc. )
hahahah relieves stress though. i feel much better now.
but i feel really guilty though. haven't been back home for awhile already.
especially with mommy not feeling well most of the time. and she seems to be getting worse.
SIGHHHHHHHHH I AM FREAKING WORRIED.
shall try to go home as often as i can!

FML.


school has officially started. still not getting used to it.
first day of school - i dutifully went for my lecture and I WAS ON TIME.
second day of school - skipped soci lecture coz i had more important things to do hahaha
third day of school - fell asleep 5 minutes into the Malay Studies lecture (yes i'm taking MS omg i have no idea what i've gotten myself into), woke up, started playing Tap Tap Revenge, fell asleep again for a really long time and i was sleeping real soundly until the lecturer introduced the young lady sitting next to me as the head of the MS Society or something, and that was still fine until she added, "AND SHE WILL BE YOUR TUTOR DURING YOUR TUTORIALS."
and i was like OMFG SHIT. hahahaha die.

and today i spent an hour getting back to hall from FASS (which is actually just a 10 minute walk away) all because we took the wrong bus.
NUS is far too huge for my liking.

and it's 3.40am now and i am still awake.
hall life = no sleep omg.
had block initiation just now which involved blindfolds, nipple-licking/biting(for the guys), love bites, karmansutra(spelling?) positions and other stuff.
we're having level initiation tmr. i have a feeling it's gonna be damn crazy.

Saturday, 18th July.

gave tuition. sean is so adorable he always makes me laugh.
was supposed to meet zh @ NLB @ 5.15pm but it was the first time i tried going to bugis without cabbing. in the end i took 2 buses and one train and i was an hour late. hahahaha oops SORRY ZH.
then met my favourite people for Harry Potter. it kinda sucked and involved lots of snogging --> ron and his freaky-looking girlfriend.


Sunday, 19th July.

met yq for ice-skating @ Kallang Leisure Park which was really really fun although i was a total NOOB.

on the mrt ride there yq told me he brought a jacket for me coz he thought that i might have forgotten to bring one. (i didn't forget btw. but it was a real sweet gesture nevertheless [: ) and right after that the mother messaged me,"Aren't you wearing a bit too little for ice-skating??" gosh. am i really that dumb/muddle-headed/forgetful??? don't answer please, it's rhetorical.

anyway, something terribly embarrassing happened on the way there.
i put my empty bubble tea cup on the bus seat and asked yq to remind me to take it when we were going to alight and he jokingly said,"just leave it there la."
and i was like," CANNOT. I'M VERY GONG GONG SHOU FA ONE."
him:"HUH?"
me: (i said it loudly,thinking he didn't hear me the first time)"I'M VERY GONG GONG SHOU FA ONE."
him:"huh? you're very WHAT??!!" (with a very cheeky look on his face)
and i thought it was coz i didn't enunciate the words properly so i said it again, real loudly: "GONG1 GONG4 SHOU2 FA3!!"
and i was still real smug that i actually remembered the chengyu until he started laughing like crazy and said,"i think you meant Feng Gong Shou Fa."
me:"OMG!! ya hor. SHIT. "
HAHAHAHAHA EPIC FAILURE. i almost died on the spot.


Monday, 20th July.

woke up supafreakingearly to attend some MOE Induction thingy which was actually not as boring as i thought it'll be + the food was really good :D the principal of NorthLight School(a school for kids who failed their PSLE twice or more) gave a talk and showed us videos which were so inspiring and touching that szu an & me actually teared.

and later that day, by some stroke of genius, i actually managed to get myself stuck in the shower. the door was jammed and no matter what i did i just couldn't get it open. had to holler for my parents to come and save me.

went for the electronics fair in the morning and then checked into my hall, and to my surprise my room is actually quite nice [:

oh, and RACHEL CHEW IS SO ADORABLE. she's so terrified of giving tuition that she actually had a nightmare last night. i was so amused when she told me about it.
just got off the phone with zh. him and his stupid ridiculous analogies which make no sense. hahaha everytime we talk on the phone i laugh so much/loudly that the mother will come into my room and tell me that i'm making too much noise.


i'm gonna be so darn busy this 2 weeks.

celest & ade came over to chill on monday + complain about the state of my room, and we had so much fun playing in the pool.

I've been bumming around at home for the longest time ever I FEEL LIKE A LOSERRR.

slept really late on friday night.
talked non-stop on the phone for the longest time ever. hahaha okay not really. but i think it was like 3.5 hours or more in total. talked to celest, then zh called and i talked to him for real long, and then i called celest again. and after that i was so high and couldn't fall asleep til 3am or so.

and on Thurs i was cutting my nails, and halfway through i went to do something else and forgot all about my nails until i left the house and noticed that i had 3 fingers with short nails and 7 with long nails. i am Goddess of All Things Retarded.

tuitioned Sean on Saturday. he's so cute, i think i'm gonna enjoy teaching him alot though it might be quite challenging [:
signed 4 years of my youth away to MOE and saw rachel & qh who were doing temperature-taking @ MOE.
lunched @ Holland V with Uncle Ken, Auntie Jenny & Sherrylene (okay idk how to spell her name haha and she is one sweet cutiepie)
then met the boyfriend and we headed to the ZOO

i was so excited hahahahahaha. we walked around to look @ all the animals and yq is a horny piece of shit man. either that, or maybe he's just very interested in animals and their mating habits. HAHA



then it started raining elephants while we were in the middle of watching an animal show(!!!) and i was really happy coz i got to see the penguins which were extremely adorable ♥


waited for the rain to stop then continued looking at animals and finding our way to the Kids Fantasy Rainforest (or whatever it's called) which we found in the end but didn't get to explore because it was already closed by the time we reached :[
(ber and co. when we go to the zoo again let's please go to that place it's very colourful and happy-looking)

left the zoo coz bestfriend called to tell us that it was closing soon (and also that we were supposed to meet her & pangsai for dinner) but our bus took really long to arrive.
took the bus to cck interchange and waited really long for another bus to take us to cck swimming complex (where we paid $1 for the kids' tickets and snuck in to use the toilet to bathe :D),
and we couldn't meet celest & pangsai in the end coz it was already too late (I'M AWFULLY SORRY BESTFRIEND!!!)
and the time it took me to shower + change = time it took yq to shower + change + read 8 pages of his book.
which either says that i bathe really fast [: or that yq takes an inordinately long time to read.



headed to Lot1 for dinner (it's so different now. haven't been there in a really long while), then took 190 all the way to Dhoby Ghaut (falling asleep on the bus).
was supposed to meet jon & co. @ Acid Bar but just as i was about to head over it started pouring like crazy so i decided not to go in the end (ps-ed quite alot of people that night SORRY GUYSSS :( please still be my friendssss),
when the rain was less heavy we met zh, jm, ber, qh & marcus and squeezed with 93847598452 other people on the streets to watch a pyrotechnics show. (whatever happened to "Try to stay away from crowded places" coz of H1N1?!?! it was positively swarming with people)

anyway, the show sucked big time. jm and i were too short (jm is way shorter than me of course) we couldn't see most of the show. and the fireworks were minimal.
headed into the museum where we went to the History gallery and walked around exploring the gallery with our enormous iPod-esque thingamabobs hanging around our necks.







i was bored after awhile. honestly i would have been really interested if not for the fact that i was really tired already.
ended up just looking @ the exhibits without bothering to read/listen to the explanations and stories + taking photos (which are with ber whose camera is now a kickass new nikon. salivates.)
but i kinda really wanted to explore the art gallery but we ran out of time so oh well, next time i guess.

after the event we went to the foodcourt nearby to eat and entertained ourselves by looking @ ber's stash of jm's unglam photos (which are tremendously entertaining i assure you), then did other stuff and tried to find the famous rochor doujiang youtiao which we did not get to eat coz they open @ 11am.
reached home around 6.30am, showered and crashed from 7am to 4pm (woke up @ 10am coz my stomach was hurting like crazy) , skipped the xiaolongbao buffet with obs mates coz my stomach was still feeling kinda queasy, and it's now 4.51am and my body clock is really really screwed up. And celest's coming over to swim in approximately 7 hours time. :D

isn't this the Coolest Shit Ever? WATCH! it's mega cool.



And my bank account is depleting by itself!!!! okay not really, but i really do need to cut down on my expenses which means no more Uncle-adam-road-stop-just-before-the-petrol-kiosk-no-i-dont-know-how-to-get-there-okay-whichever-way-is-faster.
One good thing about staying in the hostel when school starts is that at least i won't be late for school. i think.
(well, even if i woke up late at least i wouldn't have to cab down to school = saves truckloads of $$$$)

OBS


you guys can skip the first half of this entry, i'm just gonna ramble on about obs which was pretty much amazing & awesome which is why i don't wanna forget what i went through, which is the reason i'm bothering to write this whole chunk of words down.

Day One.

my watch was Bo Seng!
we didn't really do much on the first day.
did high elements though. after climbing to the top, i was so petrified i didn't dare to take another step forward. i think i took a really really really long time to get across. hahaha :D

Day Two.

land expedition!
had to carry heavy backpacks & trek across the whole island looking for checkpoints.
trekked 10km plus singing Disney/NDP songs and looking for phebe's durian & rambutan trees, & halfway through, my back started acting up(as always) :(
hiked to the top of the quarry(highest point in pulau ubin) & boy the view was breathtakingly beautiful. the emotions i felt when we shouted,"BO SENG!!" and heard it echo back to us were indescribable.

when we finally reached the other end of the island, we had to trek halfway back to our campsite. in all, i think we must have trekked 16km or more aren't you guys proud of me??? :D
the guys pitched our tents(the guys in our group were awesome; they did all the saikang automatically & without any complaints. nice or what??!) & we did outdoor cooking(yes i cooked okayy); maggi mee & mushrooms have never tasted this good. :D
and pau's & si ying's 5 packets of maggi mee song is still stuck in my head!
took a powder bath for the first time in my life. hahaha pau's detol powder rocks!
drank Agent Red (hahaha code name for the illegal 100 plus leo smuggled for us when he was out doing his medical check up)
anyway, when it was time to sleep it was so hot in the tent that i couldn't fall asleep & when i finally was about to drift off to lalaland, it was time for sentry duty :( hahah

Day Three.

got into our triyaks & did the capsize drill.
i still can't tread water! (kev tried to teach me the last time but that pangsai kept laughing at me and in the end i gave up learning it heh)
love my kayaking buddiesss; szu an & zong jin : i couldn't remember his name at first & khai yu was saying just think "Jin Zong Bao Guo" (some chinese cheng yu which i dont understand) & reverse the first two syllabus, but i ended up calling him Jin Zong in the end oops. haha but i remember his name now! [:
we kayaked til the water level became too low and we were stuck in the swamp in waist deep mud, which was quicksand-esque.
the moment szu an & me got off the triyak we were stuck in the mud.
had to spend a really long time before we could pull ourselves out & the next step we took, we were stuck again!
after a few steps my shoes were stuck & i really had no more energy to pull myself up & zongjin had to come & save me haha
in the end szu an lost one of her shoes lol

we waited for everyone to struggle through the swamp & reach the river and continued kayaking and finally we reached the sea!
but just as we kayaked out to sea, it started raining & there was a storm(!!!)
it was really scary. there was rain and lightning & our triyaks were bobbing up and down in the sea due to the choppy waves.
so we had to go back to the river to wait out the storm, & when the storm finally ended, it was 8km back to land. our triyak was really fast! we were like always among the first few [:

anyway, we finally returned to Camp 1 in one piece & the instructors told us that we were the most suay batch to have experienced both the swamp & the storm within one expedition.
but i thought it made everything more memorable [:

washed up, ate dinner & took so long that we stayed in the canteen until supper haha
& stayed up late talking about various things until we finally couldn't take it & went to bed.

Day Four

did area cleaning & we finished so early we still had time to go to the canteen for our self-arranged tea break :D
then was rock climbing which was fun though it was harder coz of our muscle ache.
and finally, it was time to go back to civilisation!!

the first thing we did was to go to kovan for bubble tea! :D
hahaha was super deprived of it during obs man.
talked for awhile & then siying, szu an & me went to do the kiddy painting thingy(idk what it's called), you know, the one you squirt coloured liquid to paint a picture & put it into the oven & it hardens? yeah that one. hahah it's super fun :D


ANYWAY, everyone said that I AM A VERY QUIET GIRL [: [: and that I SHOULD SPEAK UP MORE hahahah.
okay i guess i tend to be more reserved and quiet around people i dont really know at first. plus, i was quite shagged during the camp + not feeling very well + other people were much more vocal & noisier, so i sort of became quieter

anyway, i just felt really lucky that i had such nice & fun group mates (which i will still get to see during MOE events/around school; all of us are going to NUS [:)

Saturday, 4th July (oh gosh it's july already?!!)


slept til 4pm (>17 hours pro right i know [: )
boyfriend confined = prawn fishing date with celest + pangsai cancelled hahaha oops.
was supposed to meet the others @ Holland V but i wasn't feeling well so i didn't wanna go coz i didn't wanna drink + was kinda tired even after so much sleep haha
but in the end it was munkit's house for stayover + zh's birthday celebration (see how important you are zh i went even though i wasn't feeling well are you honored?? [: )
nh & sg bought a small little cake with a power ranger on top & we told zh, no candles so you have to blow the power ranger off the cake HAHAHA :D
anyway, it was a decoy & zh really had a proper cake in the end

guitar hero-ed and i was totally off-form. i must insist that i do not suck so badly usually. :D
played Winning 11 (is that what it's called? i realised it's not called FIFA haha.) and made alot of noise while playing. (omg which one am i?! where's the ball?? how to tackle?? press what to shoot?)
and after the game i told guansen, "song gee scored 4 and i scored zero."
and that idiot replied "which means you didn't score anything at all. don't make it sound like you scored something." hahaha
but on second thought, i did score a goal! i scored an own goal coz i was too excited when sg almost scored. hahaha FAIL.
played mahjong, and i teamed up with gs. they couldn't believe my luck haha not that i won alot, but just that i almost always got the tile that i wanted. [:

slept a little, then met yq for mac breakfast, checked movie timings while he was bathing,
& he headed for his driving lesson, while i went home to bathe,
then met him @ orchard & went to eat my favourite cheecheongfun (:DDD), & talked for a really long time then we walked around & someone almost dragged me into the guys toilet(!) that childish pangsai.
played with Transformer toys(those with buttons you can presssss it's damn fun) & then it was it was Ice Age 3 in 3D! [:
which was really funny hahaha i laughed alot during the movie.
initially my 3D goggles were spoilt so i was like, "is it supposed to be flickering like that??" hahah & the whole movie theatre was flooded with kids man.

went to Ajisen Ramen for our pseudo dinner then cabbed home to meet kev for our keyboard lesson (it was a session to teach us how to use the functions of the keyboard which we have at home, which i persuaded the parents to buy but rarely used in the end)

gave kev a treat @ swenson's & headed home where i showered & slept another 15 hours away. my body clock is way screwed howww?

just before i left for obs, i realised that i had totally forgotten about its existence = it had not been watered for at least one week or so :P
so i passed it to my awesome mother to see if she could revive it, and when i came back from obs it had already grown so much!! :D
i think the plant had better stay under her care.
when it was with me in my room, i either forgot to water it or watered it excessively coz i was afraid it didn't have enough water :D

Friday, 26th June.

went for the MOE briefing thingy which was alright i guess. though some parts were pretty boring. the guy sitting next to me (forgot his name haha) had a even shorter attention span than i did and we started talking bout random things and then i just HAD to do something retarded as usual. :( hahaha oh man but the refreshments were good :D

anyway, everyone was like, "OMG did you know that MJ passed away?!!"
i was kinda shocked and all, what with it being so sudden.
And a little sad too; i mean it really is a huge loss to the music industry. He is/was obviously really talented
and i'm sorry if this is a little insensitive, but i dont really understand why everyone is reacting so ______ to the news.
i mean, normally if you say something like,"wow i think michael jackson's a really talented singer!" people would be dissing him coz of his repeated plastic surgeries + accusations of paedophilia etc.
but now everyone's like, "omg i'm SO sad MJ died!!!!" , "MJ I LOVE YOU!!" etc.
i'm not saying it's wrong or that it's a bad thing or whatever. (it's just something that i was thinking about.)
dont you think it's kinda tragic that we only truly learn to treasure the things/people around us when they're gone?
i think it's rather sad that michael jackson would never be able to know all the nice things people are saying about him now.
it's like when Morrie (in Tuesdays with Morrie) organised a 'living' funeral coz he wanted to hear what people would say about him when he was dead.
when i think about things like these it makes me feel like running to the people i love and giving them a hug and telling them how much they mean to me.

anyway, back to my boring life.

Saturday, 27th June.

ponned arts camp afterall coz i wasn't feeling well + didn't wanna be quarantined coz of H1N1 like the other NUS camp + celest's not going either + clashes with OBS + LAZY TO PACK HAHA.

got dragged out of bed by mommy @ 11 plus & went to see the doctor, and he gave me a hell lot of pills to swallow (H8 pills yucks) + cough med (hate it even more. actually i just hate taking any type of medicine in general. if not for the mother's nagging, i wont even visit the doctor.)

slacked around @ home & refused to pack my bag for OBS, ended up watching a 3.5 hour long Hindi movie (hahaha quite nice actually. dont ask me why, but my mom likes to watch Hindi movies for some reason.), and i finally watched Transformers!! (the first movie) love those movies where the good guys morph into some big/huge/powerful/badass thing and kick the bad guys' asses inside out upside down!!


Sunday, 28th June.

met yq @ WestMall to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and for the one hour that we had to wait for our movie to start, we walked around WM and played with the toys in the Toy Section of Tom&Stephanie and contemplated buying Transformer T-shirts hahaha we are so cute please :D sorry, kidding okay.
anyway, the movie was alright. some parts were quite hilarious. but i kinda like the first movie more though. oh and, BUMBLEBEE IS SO CUTE ♥

Monday, 29th June.

finally got down to packing for OBS which is tmr btw, and spent the rest of the day just idling away and i'm now watching the opening ceremony of AYG on tv coz kev & rachel are performing!!! so exciting! hahaha okay i think rachel's item was just over but i couldn't spot her! O:

and i'm not sure why but i've been having these random bouts of angst & emo-ness and just SIANNNN-ness actually. like i'd be alright but after awhile i'd be totally sian + angsty + anti-social. idk.
and last night i just felt so darn..overwhelmed. by what i have no idea.
i was just thinking, about so many things on the bus ride home. decisions i made(which may/may not turn out to be mistakes), people in my life, things which are going to happen, insecurities, etc.
and when i finally reached home i didn't feel like going up so i just sat by the pool alone.

and i just lay on the deck chairs, gazing at the few miserable stars in the sky, listening to the sound of water gushing into the pool from the jacuzzi, and i just stayed that way; for how long i have no idea. it could have been fifteen minutes, it could have been an hour, and i just lay there trying not to think of anything at all until i felt better.

on a happier note, calls with the bestfriend never fail to cheer me up [:
even if we're just talking bout random mundane stuff/laughing at each other's stupidity(my horrendous arithmetic skills & her "Dont take your _____ off!!" haha) aww i love you bestfriend.

AND, i need to visit tyler. he's such a clever baby he can sit by himself without any support now!

Saturday, 20th June.

read Salem Falls by Jodi Piccoult from 2-6am then finally fell asleep.
woke up @ 2.30pm & met yq to go to ECP to play :D

we sort of entered through the wrong entrance and had to walk a distance to the bike rental shop, and i decided to annoy him with "Are we there yet??"s every 2 minutes hahaha.
we rented a double bike because I have a phobia of cycling (when i was young, i was cycling with my brother and we were racing to see who was faster when i crashed into a guy and his bicycle fell on top of me. since then, i walk faster then i cycle. haha)
anyway, i thought a double bike would be safer but that dumbdumb proved me wrong!
he's reckless, scary and dangerous ttm.

him: " i think i can let go of the handlebars."
me: " OMG NOOOO! DONT DO IT PLEASE OMG SERIOUSLY."
and 2 seconds later he lets go of both handlebars while the bike veers dangerously towards one side and i start screaming.

or
me: "omg that baby is damn cute!" (it wasn't that i wanted him to look, it was just that i needed to comment hahaha)
him: "where??" (and turns his head back to look which means he's not even looking at where we're going!!!)
me: " OMG LOOK IN FRONT PLEASE!!"

hahaha i almost died man. imagine something like that happening every five minutes. (also partly coz i can't seem to keep my comments to myself hahaha)

it was a miracle that we didn't even crash once.
I SWEAR I'LL NEVER RIDE A DOUBLE BIKE WITH YOU EVER AGAIN YOU PANGSAI.
but i did have alot of fun though [:

we went to the cable-ski park to look around too and we are going to try that someday! :D
took a bus to suntec and managed to watch a lil bit of fireworks (NDP rehearsals i think, which explains the helicopters @ ECP), donut factory (spicy cheese!), cabbed to the sinseh (his back still hasn't recovered), where i fell asleep in a very glamorous fashion in the big blue armchair while waiting for him.


bought bubble tea from one of the pasar malam stalls coz one guy saw my I♥HC tee and shouted,"hello hwachong juniors!!" and we chatted with them for awhile, got lost on the way to munkit's house (NOT MT FAULT, really. haha), played TapTapRevenge on ber's iTouch, played FIFA!! (it was FIFA right?? anyway, it was quite fun though i kept screaming NOW PRESS WHAT PRESS WHAT?! and i even managed to score a goal :D) ,played 2 hours of spot-the-difference; reminded me of all those times we used to crowd around the the small screen to play Photohunt back in secondary school; nostalgia, kicked rachel off the bed in my sleep, i'm really sorry!!! and guilty hahaha.

Sunday, 21th June.

woke up early and went for mac breakfast.
haven't had that for so long coz everytime i wake up, it's the lunch menu already.
sat @ mac and talked for quite long; eve, rae, jm and me, almost boring zh to tears hahaha

oh and Bernard you suck!
rachel was saying that ber calls her Chew, then jm was like,"oh ya, bernard calls me Ngui." (their sirnames)
and then i shouted,"OMG DAMN UNFAIR!! bernard calls me DUMBDUMB!"

went to Giant to look for some jelly drink that the rv canteen used to sell, went to JP to look @ sneakers (OUR SNEAKERS HOW?? Converse? Everlast??), then i rushed home to bathe & met the 69 people @ PS (the guys are still as retarded as everrr) , went off to meet the family for our Fathers' Day dinner @ somejaprestaurantwithaverylongnamestartingwithH and the food was quite good. [:



Green Tea cake= YUMMM + healthy(??), then I stayed up to watch Freda though i only slept like 3 hours the previous night.

Monday and Tuesday were a blur, nothing much happened just that i realised that i forgot to do quite a number of important things!!(why are we not surprised??) and thereafter melted into a puddle of anxiety (thanks for your reassurances dumbdumb. not that it helped get anything done, it was just that i needed someone to rant to and to tell me DONT WORRY IT'LL BE OKAY. [:)
it's weird isn't it? BIGMAJOR things like being on the verge of getting retained or flunking the A LEVELS don't freak me out at all whereas silly things like making decisions and long To-Do lists and clashing events can get me all stressed up and emotional.

then came Wednesday i.e. today. I went for my medical check up and it lasted for like almost 5 freaking hours coz the queue was so damn @&!&@$@&*# long! and they gave me a tetanus jab which hurt like a bitch and i still have to go back tomorrow coz THEY FORGOT TO TELL US TO FAST THE NIGHT BEFORE. (not everyone needs to fast though, depends on which checkup you're there for.) ahhh, blood tests tomorrow = NEEDLES omfg. super freaked out by needles :(

AND, i have 2 back-to-back camps neither which i have packed for!! ARMY BOYS help me pack pleaseeee.

EDIT: RACHEL AND I ARE GOING TO LEARN FRENCH IN UNI WOOHOO! (i know LPP sounds crude but it really just stands for Language Prep Programme haha) LAND OF THE SEXY PEOPLE HERE WE COME.

went to eileen's house to play :D
we cooked spaghetti & made mango sago (WE WILL MAKE SUCH GOOD HOUSEWIVES NOW WHO WANTS TO MARRY US???), looked @ the photoshopped photo of her & ____ HAHA, had fun changing her fb status: , watched cute videos of megacute korean guys, then eileen drove me to tuition [:
surprisingly, she is such a good driver! i feel quite safe in her car though she drives damn fast and the GPS keeps going "Please Slow Down" Lol.

Wed, 17th June.

woke up @ 3.30pm wow half the day's over.
dinner(buffet) @ Melting Pot.
food was GREAT [: yes off day yet again but i ate alot of salad during the buffet okay. O:
we (Ivan & me that is, kev's @ his class chalet) had loads of fun mixing weird concoctions; there was one where we put weird stuff like raisins and corn and rainbow sprinkles into the bottom of mommy's kueh pie ti and giggled like crazy when she bit into it. made me feel like a little kid all over again.

headed home, cut the cake which no one ate coz we were too bloated from the buffet, camwhored(that retard kept trying to make my head look bigger than his MEAN OR WHAT MAN) , watched the telly (him: okay now she's gonna throw the oranges at her. me: yup! him: HAHAHAHAHA YOU IDIOT. YOU RETARDED IDIOT! [okay this is only funny if you watched the 9pm channel 8 show and know which scene we're talking about!]), walked to coro to do my atm transfer (online shopping; yes i've started to buy stuff online as well isn't this catastrophic?!!!) and did retarded stuff on the way like "OH LOOK CAR! OH A DOG! OLD MANSSS and TRANfer HAHAHAH damn funny.

and guess what the atm @ coro does not issue receipts(!), so we walked all the way to Crown Centre(no atm as well) and Cold Storage and guess what, still no atm!(ajdfhkajshdfj?!)
and we asked the cashier in Cold Storage where the nearest atm was and she said, "oh, you can walk to coro." hahaha not funny seriously.
gosh. so we bought instant noodles and strolled home drinking our blackcurrent vodka which we bought (tasted like gassy ribena.) and i almost stepped on a dead cat(!) on the way back.

reached home, showered, sat around drinking our cups of Baileys and it felt like things were back to the way they used to be before, it's almost as though all those shit didn't happen.
anyhow, i'm just glad to have my brother back [:
really missed those long chats and retarded stuff we used to do. hope all of this lasts though. crosses fingers.

met yq in the evening coz he took shore leave to collect his passport, ate dinner together, talked, and walked around, etc. [:
then he had to book in and i was way too early to meet the others, and zhihan very nicely abandoned his army friends to meet me (and i was sort of lost, but we shall not talk about that),

we randomly took a bus which we thought might reach our destination and talked about stuff like clubbing, grinding, leeching off rich husbands and legal loopholes, and this b*****h tried to touch zh's leg hahaha
kidding, and we reached holland v fashionably late.

met the others @ Tapas Wine Bistro (i'm almost 100% positive this is the name of the pub. i remembered it correctly this time)

We Are A Public Nuisance.



met ber on friday for our impromptu dinner outing to Quiznos Subs.
ate, sat around, ("oh by the way, the thing you've been kicking is NOT the table leg." HAHAHA omg every single time we go out, something like this happens. i'm so retarded. sorry bernard :D) talked, and when it was time to go back, ber said, "bring me back to the mrt station. i'll just follow you and i wont say a word even if we're going in the wrong direction."
i sort of expected us to get hopelessly lost. but i managed to bring us back to the mrt station successfully. nyeh :D


watched Ghosts of Girlfriends' Past on Sat with yq.
i thought the movie was pretty awesome. touching and funny, plus Matthew McConaughey is so damn charismatic and manly :D

dinner @ Pastamania, then hung out with my favourite people hi do you want to join our PAF club membership is freeee. :D
oh and rachel bought a really ugly elephant stuffed toy [: hahaha yes i despise your elephant!!
